This week has been an interesting week.  I’m training for a marathon in May and Tuesday I ran 29.4 km! That is by far the longest I’ve ever ran before and my body was very aware of that. Despite the soreness I’m excited to be accomplishing one of my 2011 goals in May!

In other news my wedding dress has finally arrived and I’ll be driving to Vancouver this weekend (hopefully) to pick it up! I think I tried on 50 plus dresses before finding it in the cutest bridal store in New Westminister. I never actually had an appointment there so they squeezed me in for 15 minutes and I tried on 3 dresses but fell in love with the first.  I really wanted to have that “say yes to the dress” moment including the whole crying bit. So, when I came out of the dressing room raising the roof with tears in my eyes I knew it was the one.

I can’t wait to show you guys!

Have a wonderful day!

Wow – that's awesome that you ran 29.4 km (I don't know what that means in miles, but I do know its far!) I just started doing a Couch to 5K program and I'm hoping to learnt to enjoy running enough to want to run and train for longer races. Good luck!

I love how you combine pieces that one wouldn't normally pair- you're a master at artfully clashing clothing. The gingham with leather look is working for you big time, and the detail shot with your shoes is awesome! Congrats on your running accomplishment! I am not a runner AT ALL but I have the utmost respect and admiration for those who do.
