Spurred on by a question from a fellow blogger, I’ve been thinking a lot about inspiration lately, specifically what I’m inspired by and what keeps me going. My love for fashion has grown leaps and bounds since I started this blog, and though consistency has varied, my passion hasn’t changed.
I’ll admit though, this winter has been tough. We go through peaks and valleys in all areas of our life, and I’ve been struggling somewhat with losing the spark and excitement I usually have for fashion. Blame it on the winter blues if you want, but for whatever reason, it has been just been tough for me lately.
And then suddenly, my love is renewed, and I am getting excited and inspired once again. My eyes are open to those around me, bloggers that get me excited about creating outfits, and reading magazines are making me obsessed with new trends and interesting styling.
My good friend Rachel once said “You can lose sight of your goal if you lose sight of the vision of where you’re going.” This totally hit home for me, because I wasn’t sure why or how I stopped caring, but it was because I lost sight of my vision for this blog. I have a whole new outlook on why I Love Denham is important to me, why I love fashion, and what I’m excited for in the future.
