high school calling
I spent this past weekend in Camrose, the town I grew up in. It’s that classic going-home mentality – whenever I’m there, I always focus on relaxing and hanging out with my family. Most of the clothes I pack with me are super casual and comfy – tons of sweaters, striped shirts, flats and boyfriend jeans.
This was the perfect outfit for lounging around and strolling around town. It did, however, pose a problem when I wore it in front of my older brother. He immediately started laughing, and did the whole classic “hey, high school called and wants their jacket back” routine. Well, my high school didn’t have varsity jackets, so I suppose I had to have one in adulthood!
I styled the jacket very simply this time around, but I’m excited to style it with school girl skirts and thigh high socks.
varsity jacket: H&M mens section
skinny jeans: 7 for all man kind
flats: sam edelman (borrowed from my mom)
